Coach returns to competition after battling cancer

If you, a family member or a friend has had cancer, you know what an evil disease it can be.
I recently lost a sister-in-law to cancer and a brother-in-law quite some time ago.
Sometimes the treatment works and the cancer goes away, other times it does not.
That's why it is so impressive that Tolleson first-year boys basketball coach Rich Brumbaugh is having success this season.
A year ago, he was in a Casa Grande hospital getting treatment for colon cancer. Now he is back in the No. 1 coaching chair, sometimes pacing in front of the bench and munching on a lollipop
Brumbaugh and others who fight the fight should be commended for the example they set.
