Seton Catholic's Dan Garlid doesn't seem like he wants to settle for only a football title in his senior year.
The Sentinels shortstop was a monster in Tuesday's 19-10 Division II round-of-16 victory baseball win over Canyon del Oro. Batting in the second spot, Garlid was 4-for-4 with a single, two doubles, a home run and NINE RBI. Back in November, Garlid caught six passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns in Seton's 28-7 D-IV football title triumph over Blue Ridge. The kid sure likes the spotlight.
Seton, D-II's No. 1 seed, faces No. 8 Gila Ridge in the elite eight, double-elimination portion of the tournament on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Camelback Ranch Stadium.
