Dobson extended its skid to three games at Campo Verde, 48-3, on Thursday.
It was the Mustangs (2-4) third consecutive loss allowing over 40 points, whereas the Coyotes (3-3) won their third straight scoring at least 40.
Dobson allowed seven touchdowns consisted of three rushed and three in the air, as well as six out of seven extra points scored.
"It's baptism with fire," Dobson head coach Bill Godsil said.
The Coyotes received the ball first which allowed them to score five TDs. Junior wide receiver Wyatt Rauch (three catches, 105 yards) had two touchdown catches in the first quarter, and junior quarterback Tyler Graffagnino (three TDs) rushed one into the end zone near halftime.
After a 28-point lead, Dobson sophomore kicker Ryan Zima's field goal prevented the shutout in the second quarter.
"Each reps these guys take, the more the game is going to slow down for them," Godsil said. "They just have to learn from this experience."
In the second half, Dobson junior WR Tremaine Turner got most of Dobson's chunk plays, as he got five receptions for 122 years.
Sophomore quarterback Anthony Minetti started his first high school game.
"They just do what they can, so I can do what I can to work down the field." Minetti said.
Dobson had lots of penalties in both halves. During the second quarter, Dobson false-started twice, which resulted in losing yards back to their own one-yard line.
Dobson enters its bye week looking to get healthy from its slew of injuries.
“Going into the bye week is going to be huge for us,” Godsil said.
