Sunnyside traveled to the Nike Portland XC Invite on Saturday and the boys took fifth place in the Division III 5K with junior Edwardo Loya taking 14th place with a personal record of 17:50.3. The Blue Devils scored 208 points and Medical Lake High School came in with 79 points for the victory.
